ISOTYPE

(Drawing or Symbol)

WHAT IS IT?

In marketing terms, an isotype is the graphic design that represents the name and/or brand that a business has.

An isotype is a symbol or graphic representation that seeks to highlight some meaning, value or concept of the brand. We refer to the most iconic part of the graphic representation of a brand. These types of logos require time and consistency of use to be able to position themselves in the minds of customers. After this investment, an isotype logo can position the brand in the head with a single glance. This type of logo works independently of the text or name of the company.

Examples: Apple, Nike, Twitter,..
